I am a graduate student pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, teens, and young adults as they navigate past and present life challenges and begin to make meaning of their experiences. My greatest hope is that you—or your child—will find safety, comfort, and support within the walls of the counseling office as we work toward the healing we all long for.

My work is grounded in a Person-Centered approach, rooted in the belief that you are the expert of your own life. I value your voice and lived experience, and I prioritize helping you feel heard, understood, and respected within the therapeutic relationship we share. I also integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to walk alongside you through anxiety, depression, trauma, or other challenges, offering encouragement, understanding, and practical support.

I bring extensive experience working with children and teens through my background in elementary education. I look forward to partnering with you to discover the tools and strengths needed to reconnect with joy, resilience, and hope.

I practice under the supervision of LPCC-S, Mel Shannon.
