Hi there! I am kristen.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor licensed in Kentucky and Ohio. I graduated from Syracuse University in 2013 with a Master’s in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in School Counseling. Since 2015, I’ve been honored to work closely with children and adolescents, along with their families.

I believe every child and family comes in with a desire to grow, heal, and thrive as connected members. My focus is on fostering harmony, supporting co-regulation, and strengthening bonds within family systems. I work primarily with children ages 3-12 who are facing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, divorce, grief, sensory concerns, and difficulty with regulation.

I’ve also had the privilege of supporting foster care and kinship care families on their healing journeys. My training includes attachment and relational therapy, early childhood development, play therapy, polyvagal techniques, and I’m currently completing supervision for my basic EMDR certification.
